We are so excited to welcome you to our Saint Mary-Sacred Heart School community!

Our application for admission process is easy:

  1. Download and complete our school application.
  2. Gather required student information:

Birth certificate

Baptismal certificate (if applicable)

Immunization records

Most recent school report card and standardized test results

Core Evaluation I.E.P. (if applicable)

504 Plan/Accommodation Plan (if applicable)

Copies of Disciplinary record

3. Turn in application, student information documents, and a non-refundable $50 application fee.

  • Pre-Kindergarten Eligibity
    • A child must be four years old as of August 31 of the current year to enter into pre-kindergarten.
    • Children must have an educational screening in their public school system (if available) and in our school setting prior to entrance into our pre-kindergarten program. Students will be conditionally accepted into our pre-kindergarten program with full acceptance contingent on displayed readiness on these screenings.
    • A copy of each of the child’s birth certificate, baptismal certificate (if applicable) and health records is required.
  • Kindergarten Eligibity
    • A child must be five years old as of August 31 of the current year to enter into kindergarten.
    • Children must have an educational screening in their public school system (if available) and in our school setting prior to entrance into our kindergarten program. Students will be conditionally accepted into our kindergarten program with full acceptance contingent on displayed readiness on these screenings.
    • A copy of each of the child’s birth certificate, baptismal certificate (if applicable) and health records is required.
  • Grade 1-8 Eligibity
    • A child entering first grade must be six years old as of August 31 of the current year.
    • Transferring students must provide proof of successful completion of the previous grade or that they are working at grade level.
    • A copy of each of the child’s birth certificate, baptismal certificate (if applicable), most recent report card, most recent standardized tests, Core Evaluation I.E.P. (if applicable) and testing result reports (if applicable), 504 Plan/Accommodation Plan (if applicable), and health records is required.
    • A summary of the student’s reading and math progress from the student’s most recent teacher(s) and a discipline record from the student’s current school are also required.
    • An interview with the Principal, parent(s)/guardian(s), and student follows the reception of required data and is required before eligibility is decided.
    • All decisions regarding acceptance and student’s continued enrollment will be guided by the Principal and be determined by the student’s ability to benefit from the school’s programs.Prospective transfer students with confirmed and/or suspected special needs must fully disclose any previous testing results, Individual Educational Plans or 504/Accommodation Plans before enrollment will even be considered by the administration of the school. Each transfer will be considered on a case-by-case basis and additional assessments may need to be administered by Saint Mary-Sacred Heart School staff before any decision can be made.
    • All new students will be given the opportunity to prove themselves both socially and academically in the first marking period. If during this period there are any problems that affect the student’s ability to benefit from our school’s programs, the student may be asked to withdraw his/her attendance at Saint Mary-Sacred Heart School.
